LOCATION PRODUCTS:

Location products are used in a wide variety of applications. In submersible applications, they are attached to underwater equipment such as ROVs and scientific equipment. When the equipment returns to the surface, the locator turns on automatically to assist in the tracking and recovery of the equipment. During surface applications, they are used for search and rescue, drift studies, oil spill tracking, equipment location, and warning applications.

Ocean Innovations proudly carries NovaTech location products including :

• Xenon Flashers - flashing light that is visible at great distances
• Radio Beacons - VHF radio transmitters detectable at distances at sea of up to eight miles
• Argos Beacons - tracking and alerting beacons using the Argos satellite network
• Iridium Beacons - locator beacons using the Iridium satellite network

In addition underwater pingers, acoustic beacons and pinger receivers from RJE International are available including:

• Pinger Receiver - can be used by diver or from surface vessel to find pingers
